I watched Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere and liked it a fair bit. It’s a little bit grim and a little bit pretty and I thought that Stephen Dorff convinced me that he was vapid (but not really) and could cry convincingly. I liked that it was simple so I’m not sure why a number of reviews have tried to explain the hidden meanings in the film. A 5 year old could work it out on their own...
